On Thursday, June 7, 2007, with the 42nd anniversary of Griswold v. Connecticut as the backdrop, we launched BirthControlWatch.org with a press briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. (Griswold is the landmark Supreme Court decision that guaranteed the right to birth control.) The briefing also unveiled the National Council of Jewish Women's new grassroots advocacy campaign, Plan A.

The briefing was followed by a luncheon featuring special guest speaker Congresswoman Louise Slaughter - our first Gold Star Award recipient and an expert panel speaking on the Prevention First Act. Watch clips from the briefing and luncheon below.
