The truth is The Republican party has no problem with teen pregnancy as long as the Mom surrenders her infant to their friends of the over 1.8 billion dollar adoption industry.The National Council for adoption is a big Republican religious lobby who has a lot of pull in the Bush admin..They know full well that abstinance only sex ed. doesn't work and their answer is adoption.The woman speaking about the father giving his daughter a promise ring is not only creepy, but studies have shown it usually only delays about one year of teen pregnancy.BTW,you can bet your bottom dollar these folks with money will keep their granchildren in the family while they encourage others to surrender their grandchildren for adoption.
